The challenge is to become a contributor! This process will empower our students to be difference makers! We hope this process helps them identify a unique way to be an image bearer of God.

President's Letter

Would you prefer to raise your child as a consumer or contributor?

The truth is that we are all naturally consumers. Our culture is forming our children within the narrative of consumption. Some market research estimates that business spend close to $20 billion dollars this year marketing to Generation Z. Fortunately, Oklahoma Christian Academy is a school that is committed to transforming consumers into contributors. Contributors make a difference in this world!

To counter our cultural obsession with consuming, OCA is leading the way among Christian schools in cultivating contributors. Our students make a difference through service projects, kindness efforts, faith experiences, and community events. We specifically create experiences to develop contributors through daily Bible class, chapels, The Pursuit, our innovation lab, digital citizenship training, and extra-curricular efforts, to name a few.

From the beginning of time, God has called humankind to contribute to the world (Gen 2:19,3:17). Over time, expectations for children and teens have plummeted. As Christian educators we desire to raise the standard for our students in conduct, academic success, and their contribution to the world. We see evidence of our success in the lives of our students. Our senior classes experience 100% acceptance rates to college. Graduating classes receive millions of dollars in scholarship offers. Our students work hard through a variety of extracurricular opportunities. However, our greatest joy comes as we see these external successes paired with contributor hearts. We desire to partner with families by assisting you in raising your child to contribute to society, family, school, and church.

We would love for you to visit our campus and have your child shadow for a day. Ask us about our “Coffee with the President” that we hold for prospective families. If you have additional questions or would like an information packet, please feel free to contact our Admissions Office at 405.844.6478, email spearman@ocacademy.org, or click here.
