    Blanchard came to OCA in the summer of 2020 after serving as the Chief Admissions Officer at Oklahoma Christian University for 12 years. "I have long admired the active mission of Oklahoma Christian Academy," said Blanchard. "Students here do more than memorize good ideas. They wrestle with those ideas, create with them, and leverage them to love and serve their neighbors better. Christ's calling brings cohesion and purpose to every subject we teach, and it drives our people to live with momentum." Will is married to Amy and their three children attend OCA.

    Heng came to Oklahoma Christian Academy in 2020. Heng's career as an educator has spanned 30 years in both private Christian and public schools. Learning is her passion and she loves spending her days inspiring the same in our students. "OCA is a family, and one that brings me joy every day," said Heng. She and her husband, Bruce, have been married for 33 years. Vacations usually lead them to Colorado, where their two adult children reside.


    In addition to being a full-time minister to our community, Mack leads in developing a spiritual roadmap for the OCA experience. Mack came to OCA in July 2021 after 21 years in professional youth and campus ministry. He holds a masters in Family Life Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. Jay is married to Nancy and together they have two sons.


    Roman first joined OCA in the summer of 2019 and transitioned into his role as Athletic Director in June 2021. Roman began his teaching and coaching career in 2010, and has led championship teams at Mesilla Valley Christian (Las Cruces, N.M.) and East Texas Baptist University. He holds a B.A. from New Mexico State and a Master's of Education in Sport and Exercise Leadership from East Texas Baptist. 


    Watson has been a teacher at Oklahoma Christian Academy since 2018 as the theatre teacher. In the fall of 2020, she was named Fine Arts director in which she coordinates the fine arts programs, in addition to teaching and producing a one-act play and full production every year. Watson has a master's degree from East Tennessee State University in Storytelling and 10 years experience as an adjunct professor and directing theatre. Watson is married and has four children who are students at OCA. 


    Pearman graduated from OCA in 1996 and then went on to earn her Bachelors in Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University. She joined OCA in the spring of 2017 as Director of Admissions. She and her husband Josh have been married over 20 years and have two sons, Troy (OCA class of 2022) and Travis (OCA class of 2023). 

  • Laura Akins, DIRECTOR of Communications

    Akins joined OCA in the summer of 2021 to oversee brand standards, marketing, and social media, and lead the school newspaper. She has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Abilene Christian University. She is married to Travis, who coaches the Lady Eagles volleyball team. Together they have four children who attend OCA. 


    Curtis comes to OCA after 14 years at Jay D. Parks & Associates where she served as Lead Accountant. She also practices finance on the side, having served as the Finance Coordinator for the Oklahoma City Chorus and as Treasurer for OCA's own Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Courtney is married to JC, a graphic designer who helps with OCA's branding. Their two children attend OCA.
