Board of Trustees

  • Jason Garner, Chairman

Jason is vice president of Crawley Petroleum. He's married to Heidi and together they have four children that all attended OCA. They are members of the Memorial Road Church of Christ.

"OCA provides access to an affordable, great education that incorporates a Christian worldview. OCA provides access to faculty and staff in a high teacher-student ratio environment. And OCA provides opportunity to participate in academic and extracurricular activities that are sometimes difficult elsewhere."

  • Chris McKeever, Vice Chairman

Chris is director of field marketing at Sonic Restaurants, Inc. His favorite menu item is a SuperSonic cheeseburger with tots. He and his wife Tammy attend the Memorial Road Church of Christ where he serves as an elder. The McKeever family has been an OCA family since the 2004 when their daughter Monique started Pre-K.

"OCA has been an incredible experience for our daughter to not only learn the typical school subjects, but also be able to openly study about Jesus Christ and celebrate His life. The best thing is the size of OCA large enough to have activities, but small enough to develop real relationships."

  • Chris Adair

Chris serves as the College Program Mentor at Oklahoma Christian University. He has serves on OCA's board since 2012. Chris has two children who attended OCA from pre-K through their graduation in 2021. He and his wife Jennifer attend the Park Church of Christ in Tulsa.

"OCA has blessed our family. Our kids have grown up at OCA. They have lifelong friendships and have had opportunities to pursue their individual passions in the classroom, in sports, on stage, and beyond, because of OCA. My wife and I did not grow up in Christian -12 education, but we will support Christian K-12 education going forward because of the impact OCA has made in our lives."

  • Phil Klutts

  • Jeannie Tryggestad

  • Sue Taylor

Sue served as an educator for 50 plus years — with 24 of those years at OCA — and retired in the spring of 2014. She and her husband Jerry reside in Edmond, Okla., and are members of the Edmond Church of Christ. They have two grown children who graduated from OCA Alex ('03) and Matthew ('04)  and their oldest grandson, Mason, currently attends OCA.

"OCA provides a safe and nourishing educational environment, while giving each student a place to develop and serve. It was a privilege to teach at OCA and an honor to serve as one of the board members."

  • Nancy Graham

Nancy is a retired kindergarten teacher. She taught 30 of her 35 years in Mustang, Okla., and now works part time for Mustang Public Schools in the after school program. Nancy and her husband Sammy attend the Lakehoma Church of Christ and have three grown daughters who live in Oklahoma.

"I believe parents choose Christian schools for academic excellence, class size, test scores, school safety and the focus on Christian values. OCA offers and implements experiences that foster and promote these qualities each day. OCA staff is dedicated to providing a safe Christian environment that nurtures and challenges students to develop skills to be successful in life."
