  • drama

Students from elementary through high school have many opportunities to participate in OCA theater productions. From special events like our summer theater camp or the fall week-long music theater with Missoula Children’s Theater, to theater classes in our secondary curriculum, to our campus-wide spring productions, OCA Fine Arts welcomes students of all skill levels to experience theater. Our high school theater group, known as “Parables,” combines the stage with the Bible to explore God’s design and His story through character study, performance, and one-act competition. Recent OCA Theater productions have included The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Rodger and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales.

  • visual arts

The visual art division of the fine arts department at OCA has plenty to offer our students. From the very basics to advanced concepts, to AP Art, OCA offers extraordinary opportunities. Curricular choices include multiple levels of visual art, photography, and graphic design. An after-school art club is available for students wishing to hone individual skills with direct instruction from our teacher. Visual art students also have the opportunity to put their skills to the test by assisting with stagecraft, theater set painting, and even campus beautification with chalk murals or decorative word art.
